Patriot Paws Imaging was founded to bring high-quality mobile diagnostic ultrasound services to the Houston veterinary community. As a locally operated, veteran- and woman-owned business, we are proud to serve as an extension of your veterinary team, delivering compassionate, reliable, and expert imaging care directly to your clinic.

Our mission is to support general practice veterinarians with timely and accurate diagnostics, helping improve patient outcomes while reducing the need for outside referrals. With deep roots in the community and a commitment to excellence, Patriot Paws Imaging is here to make advanced imaging more accessible, seamless, and stress-free, for both pets and their people.

Meet the Team

  • Katie Blanco

    Co-Founder & Veterinary Sonographer

    With a deep passion for helping both people and pets, Katie brings over 12 years of experience in the veterinary diagnostic and telemedicine space, with a career dedicated to advancing patient care through technology and imaging. She is formally trained through Sound Academy and has completed the immersive ultrasound program with WAVE (We Are Veterinary Education), combining rigorous classroom instruction with extensive hands-on training.

    In addition to her formal education, Katie has spent countless hours scanning small animals and collaborating with specialists to deliver high-quality, clinically valuable studies. Her background in diagnostic imaging and telemedicine gives her a unique perspective on both the clinical and client-facing sides of veterinary care.

    The creation of Patriot Paws Imaging has been a true labor of love for Katie and Jason, driven by their shared commitment to bringing high-quality mobile ultrasound services to the greater Houston area.

    Through Patriot Paws, Katie partners with local veterinary teams to provide timely, mobile ultrasound services that help deliver answers faster, support better treatment decisions, and strengthen client trust.

    Katie is a veteran’s wife and devoted mom of two young children. She’s actively involved in supporting veterans and serves at the local VFW. Outside of work, Katie enjoys gardening, watching her chickens, and diving into backyard homesteading projects. Whether she’s wrangling kids, managing the business, or getting her hands dirty in the garden, Katie lives life with energy, purpose, and plenty of laughter along the way.

    Jason Blanco

    Co-Founder

    Jason is a combat veteran who served 12.5 years in the United States Marine Corps. Leadership, resilience, and service have been at the core of everything he does, on the battlefield, in business, and at home.
    After transitioning from military life, Jason pursued his passion for technology and became a proven leader in the veterinary and tech industries. With over a decade of experience leading field operations, deploying enterprise solutions, and driving customer success for veterinary healthcare organizations, Jason thrives at the intersection of innovation and impact.
    When he is not helping veterinary teams succeed through smart technology, you can find Jason riding his Harley, off-roading in his Jeep, or spending time with his family, making memories and embracing the chaos of fatherhood.
